CONCEPT OF THE FESTIVAL

The Joie de Vivre Festival, now in its third year, holds small but extraordinary concerts of chamber music, featuring mostly works by French composers.

The festival’s repertoire includes a selection of relatively unknown works, giving the audience a fresh concert experience, and chosen with the idea in mind to create a heart-warming atmosphere.
Chamber music is an intensely personal form of music-making, moulded by the character of the individual musicians.

In collaboration with a group of amazing young artists, the Joie de Vivre Festival celebrates the next generation of upcoming musicians.
