Rahel Rupprechter

Violoncello

Rahel Rupprechter was born in Tyrol in 1998 and started playing the cello at the age of 6. In 2012 she began her preliminary studies with Michael Hell at the Tyrolean State Conservatory and since autumn 2018 she has been studying with Reinhard Latzko at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

Rahel Rupprechter is a multiple pricewinner of the Austrian competition "Prima la Musica". She took part in numerous master classes in Austria and abroad, e.g. the ISA (International Summer Academy of the mdw) and the Academie Musicale de Morges. She is a scholarship holder of the Eva Lind Musikakademie Tyrol and was admitted to the "Live Music Now" foundation Vienna in 2021. She has already received musical impulses from numerous personalities such as David Geringas, Yo-Yo Ma, Jerome Pernoo, Miklos Perenyi, Norbert Anger, and others. 

Rahel Rupprechter is a subsitute of various orchestras, including the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Innsbruck. She is the founder and artistic director of the string orchestra "inn.wien ensemble". In addition, Rahel Rupprechter is a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra 2020, 2021 and 2022. As a passionate chamber musician, she has shared the stage with personalities such as Reinhard Latzko, Ernst Kovacic, and others.
